Important: VetReady is a triage guidance tool only. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health concerns. In a life-threatening emergency, contact an emergency veterinary clinic immediately.
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the VetReady application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by VetReady ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use VetReady. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are accessing VetReady on behalf of a veterinary clinic, practice, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
VetReady provides:
VetReady is an informational tool. It does not provide veterinary medical advice and is not a licensed medical or veterinary service. Specifically:
We expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, injury, loss, or death to any animal that results from reliance on VetReady's triage guidance.
VetReady does not require you to create an account. All pet and health data you enter is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or accessible by VetReady's servers. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of information you enter.
Veterinary clinics that register for a Vet Portal account ("Clinic Accounts") agree to the following additional terms:
You agree not to use VetReady to:
All content, branding, design, software, and features of VetReady — including but not limited to the VetReady name, logo, triage logic, symptom decision trees, interface design, color scheme, user experience flow, and any underlying code — are the exclusive intellectual property of VetReady and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
The following actions are expressly and strictly prohibited without prior written permission from VetReady:
Any unauthorized use of VetReady's intellectual property constitutes copyright infringement and/or misappropriation of trade secrets, and VetReady reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including injunctive relief and monetary damages. Viewing the source code of this application does not grant any license or right of any kind.
VetReady complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe any content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to legal@getvetready.app with: (a) your contact information, (b) identification of the copyrighted work, (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material, (d) a statement of good-faith belief, and (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
The Vet Finder feature uses OpenStreetMap and its Nominatim geocoding service to retrieve nearby clinic locations. These third-party services are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. VetReady is not responsible for the accuracy of map data, clinic listings sourced from third parties, or the availability of third-party APIs.
Clinic listings in the Vet Finder may be populated from public map data. VetReady does not guarantee that any listed clinic is currently open, accepting new patients, or licensed in your jurisdiction.
Pet owners may choose to share a digital intake form with a veterinary clinic through VetReady. By sharing an intake form, you authorize VetReady to transmit the information contained in that form to the selected clinic. You understand that once shared, the receiving clinic may retain a copy of that information according to their own privacy and medical record practices. VetReady is not responsible for how receiving clinics store, use, or protect shared intake data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetReady disclaims all implied warranties including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VetReady and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, veterinary costs, or harm to any animal — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VetReady and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) any information you submit to or through the Service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service — including any Clinic Account — at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class-action lawsuit in connection with any dispute related to the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VetReady regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
